2025This zine explores how design aesthetics and fundamentals can visualize the fluidity and implied movement of a poem. The haiku, written by Japanese poet Yosa Buson (1716–1784), “Blowing from 
the west / Fallen leaves gather / In the east,” is visualized in an eight-page, three-spread booklet designed in a 4 × 6-inch format. I wanted to interpret the poem in a clear yet experimental way, connecting the first and third stanzas while using the middle spread, which represents the second 
  stanza, as the booklet’s climax.
